Are You a Fan of Google Docs?

If you enjoy using Google Docs, changes are coming. As we already know, nothing ever stays the same. The old saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” NEVER applies to technology. As it appears, Google Docs are also making some changes. Most of these changes are geared towards students, but you never know how it might affect you. Click here to read more.

Microsoft Has No Interest In You

We can’t stress enough to everyone – Microsoft does not call your house. Anti-virus software companies don’t contact you to tell you your computer has an issue. Please, if someone contacts you and asks for permission to access your computer, HANG UP. Do not allow anyone to remotely access your machine. This will cause you major problems, including potential identity theft, monetary losses, and damage to your computer. Please be smart. If you have any questions, contact us right away!

Computer Class Update

Our computer class schedule has been updated through December 2015! RKS Enterprises works with the Town and Country Public Library in Elburn to provide affordable tech classes. Classes are only $5 each. The best part? You don’t have to be a resident of the library district to participate in these classes. Classes are open to everyone! The only thing they ask is that you sign up and pay for the class or classes you want to take at least 24 hours before the scheduled meeting. If no one signs up 24 hours prior to the event, it will be canceled. This is a great program to take advantage of. Each class can have up to eight students, but will still have class if only one signs up! Laptops will be provided for each lesson, unless the class is device specific (iPad or Android devices).

Get a group of friends and family together and come on out to the library. This can make the class even more fun. Hope you decide to join us! Click here to see what we have to offer for the rest of 2015!
